After watching this link on the cruelty to animals especially pigs, it really made me think of how cruel and selfish I have been just to satisfy my hunger. I had never thought of a cow, pig or chicken as other than food. However, after seeing a pregnant mother pig, it broke my heart. I understand why people become vegan, because even something as simple as eating an egg or drinking milk is attained with cruelty to the animal.
