Blog #19 Hot News


 Irrigation, drought and rising sea level are beginning to leave a salty, hard cracked soil known as Salination soil as reported by John Vidal and environmental editor. This is especially a problem in countries such as Vietnam. The water is so salty it can not be used for drinking, only cooking. It drastically affects their economy because it does not allow for good growth of rice, one of the major crops grown.
