I am very surprised to find this warning right on the phone, having owned a phone since they came out and yet no one telling me about how it could hurt me.
  2. Should nurses be more active in staying abreast of information regarding radiation associated with tech devices and their associated potential risks? Absolutely, nurses are very much in a position to not only be informed but also to educate patients about the dangers of radiation.
  3. If we wanted to develop a position statement for nurses on technology and health, how would we go about doing that? The nurse would do research on radiation and technology and begin by providing information to public interest areas such as school districts. Nurses may also contact their congress and local governments.
